The 10th Anniversary Fidelity Investments Park City Jazz Festival welcomes you to another summer season finale of live music in the mountains. Presented in the picturesque Deer Valley Amphitheatre, this three-day event holds something for every lover of jazz music in all its forms. This year's line-up includes: · Jazz musical icon David Sanborn presenting a contemporary jazz style, · Tower of Power packing a triple punch of soul, R&B, and funk in a big band sound · singer/songwriter, and multi-Grammy award winner, soul-diva India.Arie · ex-Jefferson Starship guitar player, now an acoustic soloist, Craig Chaquico · jam-band style Medeski Martin and Wood teamed with guitar guru John Scofield. Also, you'll be able to witness nationally-acclaimed jazz musicians jamming with our award-winning local student bands. Jazz is a performance based art form, best learned through live performance. Watch these kids get schooled in the best way possible. Russell Gunn performs with the Park City All-Star Band on Friday, and Eric Marienthal takes the stage with the Crescent Super Band Saturday. To further our mission of bringing jazz education and passion to children, tickets for all children 12 and under are FREE. Just stop by the Will Call window to pick up these tickets the day of show. The Sundance Film Festival is one of the most popular park city events- salt lake city events-utah events. The film festival ranks amongst the top five events of its type in the world. Held annually in Park City as well as Salt Lake City, Utah the festival is the premiere showcase for new work from American and international independent filmmakers. The festival comprises competitive sections for American and independent dramatic and documentary films, and a group of non-competitive showcase sections, including the Sundance Online Film Festival.
The Annual Park City Arts Festival is one of one of the most celebrated Park City events - Utah events. It is one of the summers biggest draws of people. Artists and craftsman from around the world come to show and sell their beautiful art pieces. There are also numerous art galleries throughout town that exhibit great artwork from around the world. The Kimball Art Center provides exhibit space for local and regional as well as famous artists.
