Beyond Real Estate--Erik's Background

Erik hails from the tranquil Mendocino, California Coast. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.S. in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management in 1992. After graduation, Erik worked in the fields of Investment Banking, Aviation Finance, and Sales & Marketing in the San Francisco Bay Area. His non-business devotions included tournament tennis and wine making.

Seeking a balance between work and play, he took an 11 month sabbatical in the Pacific and Southeast Asia, taking time to explore the marvels of New Zealand, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Nepal. Life priorities recalibrated, Erik relocated to the Park City area in 1994 and worked for the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources as a biologist and worked to maximize the local lifestyle--learning to ski, snowboard, mountain bike, snow-shoe,, explore local waters etc…

Born in New York City, raised in the Midwest, and a graduate from Marquette University, Greg traveled the world, lived in beautiful places--both foreign and domestic--and looked for a place to call home.

A passion for the mountains and a fortuitous job offer lured him to Park City over a decade ago. Natural beauty, activities for every season, and phenomenal weather had gained yet another convert to living in Utah.

Greg lives in Midway and enjoys fly-fishing and being outdoors, and is passionate about spending time with his beautiful wife and daughters and the best dog ever, Rica.

She studied at Imperial College in London and Lycee Bourchardon in Chaumont, France before earning her degree in natural resources with a minor in French from Johnson State College in Vermont. Her devotion to her favorite pursuits of skiing, windsurfing, and the great outdoors landed her in Tuscon, Jackson Hole, Maui, Mount Rainier, and Hood River before she settled in Midway, Utah with her husband and young daughter.

You’ll choke on a cloud of snow and your pride when she rips past you, and you'll really hate it that she's barely breathing hard by the time you finally catch up to her at the bottom of the lift!

Real Estate in Park City has always been interesting to me. I bought my first property at the age of 21, and have been involved in real estate ever since.

I began buying foreclosures in Salt Lake City 12 years ago, remodeling, and then reselling them. While I felt satisfied with turning around these troubled properties, I found that I was passionate about helping others find or sell homes.

Before my career in real estate, I worked at the 5 Diamond Stein Eriksen Lodge for over 12 years. Working in the area’s finest resort gave me an opportunity to be trained in a high level of customer service, and to pay attention to all details. Attention to detail, along with great service always created an exceptional experience for the guest. I use the training and skills that I developed during those years to enhance the property buying or selling experience for my real estate clients.
