Cross country skiing on the Park City muni golf course can be rejuvenating or heart-pounding, depending on your mood. White Pine Touring offers lessons, rentals and clinics on site. White Pine grooms 3k, 5k, and 10+kilometer loops for beginning, intermediate, and advanced classic and skate skiers.

Tubing in Park CityYou can also test your cross-country talents at Soldier Hollow, the 2002 Olympic venue in nearby Midway, UT. Try the challenging Olympic tracks, or learn the basics on easy terrain.

Soldier Hollow also features a tubing park for family fun--reservations are recommended. Tubing can be combined with a train ride on the Heber Valley Railroad, which offers assorted local train rides as well as specialty trains like the Polar Express.
